Round 4 Croft 2nd-3rd June

Practice- 35 minutes of a dry track at Croft on Friday the 1st June.
We were sitting 2nd quickest up until the last 5 minutes when we dropped down to 4th quickest.

Qualifying- We tried a new strategy for this one.. Not working in our favour but you have to try to see if these things work. It didn't so we qualified 6th on the grid for Saturday's qualifying race.

Qualify race- Starting 6th on the outside of the grid I knew it would be hard work to get ahead of the drivers in front of me. After a good start I got up to 4h place and then had a good battle with Lawson for the whole race.

Main Race- starting off grid 8 with a 36 car grid could only mean one thing.. Race time!
A hard 12 lap race saw me get up to 5th place catching the battle for 3rd and 4th. We were sure for a podium finish until going into tower bend on lap 9 Ed Pead locked up and crashed into my right side of the car.
After getting it together I had dropped down to 6th place and had to take it steady through the fast corners of Sunny just in case there was any damage to the rear tracking.
Everything felt OK and got my head down for the last 3 laps bringing the car home in 6th place.

Good weekend, great weather, a little damage and a good bundle of points for the championship.

I also want to thank Andy, Pamela, Susan and Martin from Glascow who bid in the Cash for Kids auction. I hope they had fun at the circuit and enjoyed the racing.
