Friday Testing
Testing started and I took to a dry
track going quickest from the very start. Martin Byford pipped me by a tenth of
a second 3minutes from the end and we were unable to take top spot back from him.
Qualifying
We went out and with twenty minutes to set the fastest time pressure
was on. We only managed to qualify 2nd but that was still the front row so we
were still pleased.
Qualifying race!
We got a decent start and managed
to fend off Lawson for the whole of the 16 lap race to finish in 2nd place. That
has put us on the second row for the Sunday main race and in a good position for
a podium.
Main race
To the main race. Starting from position 4 we
were on the outside of the grid and on the damp side of the track. I got a great
start off the line but in the run up to the first corner Lawson # 25 ran into
the back of me sending me sideways and off into the gravel. Damage to both my
car and my championship hopes.
Thats racing, onto donington and let's get
some more wins!!!
