Micky Doyle teams up with Think Pink Scotland

British Touring Car star Micky Doyle has joined up with Think Pink Scotland to help raise awareness and funds towards Breast Cancer research in the West of Scotland. The 22 year old, Loch Lomond racer will be competing in the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship in 2010.

Micky, who has offered the branding on his race helmet to Think Pink Scotland, said "It’s very important to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. It’s not only women who can get it and I want to make sure as many people know about the charity and the illness as possible."

"We will be holding various events throughout 2010 to raise funds and I hope this can help towards finding new treatments and funding essential equipment. In the summer there will be the Think Pink Grand Prix which will consist of a 2 hour Karting endurance race with all proceeds going to Think Pink Scotland".

Lynn Murray co-founder of Think Pink Scotland added "I am delighted to have Michael's support for Think Pink. It is great to see young people getting involved in fundraising and being aware that men can also get breast cancer. I wish Michael good luck in his 2010 racing season."
